TELL JOE NO!
Discussed by Emily Davis
with Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (www.sbaprolife.org/)

President Donald Trump believes abortion laws should be decided by individual states, but does he condemn abortion at all? Joe Biden fully supports abortion at any time, including up until the moment of birth. Which should pro-life voters support?

Emily Davis is the Vice President of Communications at Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America. Today, she urges pro-life activists everywhere to continue to take a stand against Joe Biden’s attack on human life.

Click here for the latest pro-life news from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America.

Click here to watch President Donald Trump’s press release on abortion rights in America.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Should the abortion issue be left to the will of the people? Emily Davis discusses the Dobbs Decision and the rights of states regarding abortion.

Do Democrats plan to wipe out every pro-life law in all 50 states?

For the pro-life movement to survive and thrive, must the GOP fight for a national minimum standard?

No matter the argument – no matter the excuse – is a baby still a baby? Emily Davis reminds us that our responsibility is to serve moms and to love the babies they carry.

HAS THE BIBLE ALWAYS BEEN PRO-LIFE
Discussed by David Closson
with Family Research Council (www.FRC.org)

As Christ-followers, what should our stance be on life?

David Closson recently wrote a fantastic article, “The Bible is Pro-Life from Cover to Cover and That’s Never Changed”, outlining this very question.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

Has the Bible always been pro-life? Is it really pro-life from cover to cover? David Closson mentions a few of the Scriptures, such as: Psalm 139:13-16 and Luke 1:39-45.

Are some attempting to change the pro-life message found in the Bible?

Does the devil use the pro-life issue to cause division among Christ-followers?

How can we convince more people that a baby is still a baby? David reminds us: “There are a lot of issues we can debate… but we don’t have to guess what God’s opinion is on this.”

BIDEN BETRAYS WOMEN AND CHILDREN
Discussed by Mary Elizabeth Castle
with Texas Values (TxValues.org)

In Joe Biden’s twisted mind, people can choose their own gender and change it whenever they want to. Now, he wants your children to be forced to adhere to his opinion.

Mary Elizabeth Castle is the Director of Government Relations with Texas Values. Today, she discusses Biden’s desire to rewrite the rules for Title IX, placing all children in harm’s way.

Click here to read the press release from Texas Values on this important issue.

Click here to watch the video series “What You Need to Know about the Rewrite of Title IX” by Texas Values.

Questions/Issues Discussed:

What is the purpose of the Federal Legislation “Title IX”?

Why is the Left so focused on “gender identity”? Listen closely as Mary Elizabeth Castle reveals how many “genders” people are now identifying as! It is no longer just “LGBTQ”!

What has been the result of biological males competing against females in high school and college sports?

The Texas Legislature has banned biological males from competing against females in high school and college sports. Will Biden’s new rules void the Texas Laws protecting females? Mary Elizabeth shares the good news (at least until Congress decides to make a Federal law change). She also urges parents to be vigilant and proactive NOW and continue to protect their children (especially daughters) from Biden’s grasp.

REMEMBER
Discussed by Pastor Jarrett Stephens
with Champion Forest Baptist Church (www.ChampionForest.org)

Day 4

Pastor Jarrett Stephens fills in for Mark Lanier this week, but he won’t be teaching on Revelation. He wants you to remember – remember when you came to a saving knowledge of Jesus, where you are in Christ today, and your journey with God the Father.

To view Pastor Jarrett Stephens’ special video for this lesson, click here.

If you have a prayer request, need Scripture encouragement, or would like a copy of Mark’s lessons each week, email wantmore@biblical-literacy.org

Questions/Issues Discussed:

If you or someone you know has suffered abuse, please do not hesitate to reach out to a counselor or pastor at your church or call CFBC 281.440.3800.

REMEMBER YOUR TOUGHEST TRIAL

Does God care about our trials? Does God care when we suffer? What can we learn from our trials? How can we help others through our trials? (Psalm 34:17-18; Isaiah 57:15)

Pastor Jarrett offers encouragement through his own trials and some very personal details about sexual abuse he endured as a child.

JESUS ON MARRIAGE
Discussed by Pastor Jarrett Stephens
with Champion Forest Baptist Church (www.ChampionForest.org)

Day 4

Pastor Jarrett Stephens began a new series on Easter Sunday entitled “Jesus On” (fill in the blank) – the only perspective that matters. This week, he preaches on God’s design and intent for marriage.

Scripture Passage: Matthew 19:3-12

QUESTIONS / ISSUES DISCUSSED

What was Jesus’ response to the Pharisees question about divorce? (Matthew 19:9) Pastor Jarrett discusses his rebuke of the Pharisees and his defense of women, quoting Theologian William Barclay: “There is no time in history when the marriage bond stood in greater peril of destruction than in the days when Christianity first came into this world. At the time, the world was in danger of witnessing the almost total break-up of marriage and the collapse of the home.”

What did the disciples say in response to Jesus’ words about marriage and divorce? Did Jesus agree with them?

Who was Jesus talking to when he spoke about acceptable reasons for divorce? (Reference Matthew 5:31-32)

If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, text the word JESUS to 77069 and a pastor or counselor from CFBC will call you back.

PRAYER
Discussed by Terry Lowry
with Host of the What's UP Radio Program

Heavenly Father,

May we never hesitate to come to you in prayer.

We know, Father, that you care for your children. Hold us close and never let us go.

Life is hard. Times are difficult, but you, O LORD, are good. You will never leave us.

Guide us between your guardrails. Shine your light upon our path. Plant our feet on the solid rock of our salvation. You are our GOD and we are your children.

Bless us, O LORD. Enlarge our influence. May your hand be with us continually. Help us to avoid evil so we do not cause you pain.

May all of God’s people shout: “Hallelujah! I am saved!”

We pray this by and through the blood of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray,

Amen
